Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators Foundation (YEI FOUNDATION) in Partnership with Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) is set to mark “World Entrepreneurs’ Day” in Abuja.

The event which is scheduled to hold on 21st August, 2023, by 12noon at the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, 17 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja, will also recognize some notable personalities who have contributed immensely in the society.

A Press Statement from the President of Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators Foundation (YEI FOUNDATION), Abraham Ofeoshi said that the theme of the  event is, “World Entrepreneurship Day: Celebrating Innovation And Empowering Entrepreneurship in Nigeria”,

According to him, “it is a day to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements and contributions of great minds. Entrepreneurs are much of the driving force behind innovation and economic growth. They are significant engine of problem-solving; without enterprise and entrepreneurs, there would be little innovation, less productivity growth, and few new jobs.”

Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators Foundation (YEI FOUNDATION) is a Non-Governmental Organization that focuses on a CAMPAIGN to train, mentor and empower young people to embrace the culture of entrepreneurship to enhance the economic growth of the nation. The Foundation advocates for social economic transformation and reform of youths with special focus on entrepreneurship, skills development and uses.
Every year, August 21 is World Entrepreneurs’ Day. A day which has been set aside to celebrate innovation and empowerment of entrepreneurship and leadership throughout the world. Entrepreneurship is crucial not just for job creation but an incredibly essential and vital part of our economic growth and problem-solving.
