SWS NATIONAL APPOINTS HAJIA MUSILIMAT ITOPA AS THE NEW KOGI STATE CHAPTER CHAIRPERSON

The StandUp for Women Society, National has appointed Hajia Muslimat Ometere Itopa as the new Chairperson of the Kogi State Chapter to replace the vacuum created by late Liberator Queen Toba.

In a message from the National President, Lib. Barrister, Deborah Ijadele Adetona, congratulated her and urged all members of the state chapter to give her maximum support to pilot the affairs of SWS to a greater height.

She advised her to work with the vision and mission of the association which is to advocate for women in all ramifications including all-inclusiveness in good governance.

She also encouraged her to uphold the policies and ethics of the association, wishing her the very best in her tenure

Muslimat Ometere Itopa is from Okehi Local Government area of the State.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Education, a Newscaster,and a senior reporter, a dedicated staff of Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation popularly called Radio Kogi.

She is currently the Secretary News and Current Affairs Welfare .
She is a member of the state NUJ and NAWOJ.

Is no doubt that, she will do well going by her records in her workplace.

Billie Nwogu on behalf of the members of the SWS, state and national welcome Musilimat and promised that all members will accord her all the necessary support to succeed as the Chairperson.
