The course 36 cadets that made up of quiet number of brilliant officers converged with friends, well-wishers and guests on Saturday, 29th, 2022, to celebrates 20 years anniversary of their career as police officers.
The officers who have successfully paid their dues in the task of maintaining law and order in the land all graduated on the 15th of August, 2002. they were all looking vibrant, and many of them have laurel of achievements in their respectively course of service.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to both outstanding ex-officers and serving officers .
Speaking to the press at the venue of the event, one of the retired officer of the course 21 and a House of Representatives Candidate for the forthcoming general elections, Alhaji Mohammed Agis noted that he felt elated and grateful to witnessed the celebration despite he left the service 5 years ago for other opportunities.
Hon Mohamed Agis also recounted how they all came together on the 15th of August from a different backgrounds and religion to trained for a period of 2 years, adding that alot had happened along the line. he therefore commended the gallant officers for holding it down for the country despite the challenges being faced by the country.
Hon Mohamed stated that the police was a jack of all trade ambassador for all, saying that police must be supported by the people and demands must be made from the government in order to give to police what they requires.
He said: “I urge Nigerians to be security conscious and security is everyone business.i keep telling people that the only way to know a developed country is to check their policing, and with good policing architecture on ground, Nigeria would be developed”.
The House of Representatives member hopeful promised to extends his experience as a police officer to the green chamber if elected to represent his good people .
