The 60th BIRTHDAY Celebration of Dr. Jonathan Eje turns a huge success at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The occasion was recently held at the heart of the town ,Women Centre , Abuja. Dignitaries from all spheres of life graced the occasion.
While speaking to Newsmen at the occasion, Dr.Eje Jonathan expressed satisfaction to God for strength and vitality and thanked the participants for honouring the invitation. He says , good health is the hand of God.
Dr. Jonathan Eje, celebrated the birthday with the publication of the book title, ” Diamond in the Rough ” the book is the symbol of reality of life, it has ingredients of shaping human mentality and enhancement of life’s capacity . Many dignitaries at the event has recommended the book for Nigeria youths.
GreenLand News Saturday gathered that, this Birthday was characterized with the unveiling of Eje Ajuaga Foundation international. The foundation is part of his Cooperate social responsibility to carter for less privilege people, vulnerable and the out of school children.
Dr. Eje Jonathan maintained that his foundation will reduce the high level of illiteracy in the Country, by taken the less privilege out street . He expressed worried over the large number of out of school children in the country , promised to reduce it by using adequate model .
The good hearted man , Dr Eje who narrated his ordeal on how he used to play in the sand when he was a young child along side others , promised to remove children from the Sand back to school. The commitment is to give back to the society, he added.
Dr . Eje Ajuaga reaffirmed that his targets population is between the age of 5 and above. He disclosed that some NGO used to target the one in the school for scholarship but his foundation will focus on the out of school children and vulnerable ones.
He says , recent statistics showed that, there are about 10 millions of Nigeria out of school children but the model on how to take them out street was not revealed by government. He said ” we have a strategic and a workable model on how to give them sound education.”
He maintained that he will adopt the model and the strategy of starting small as his contribution to humanity.
