The Authors in School Creative Club (AiS) held its 4th National Convention yesterday 18th July, 2022 amidst the sad news of the passing of Precious Agbokhaode who was raped, disembodied and killed in Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government of Edo State, on the eve of its Convention.

In a joint statement, the club’s Co-founders, Amb. Lois Otse Adams and Fr. Reginald Adogamhe condemned in strong terms, the act of wickedness bedeviling humanity and the entire Agenebode community where the club was birthed.

Also, the National President, Authors in School Creative Club, Joshua Idogho, on behalf of the club, condemned the rape and killing of the young lady in such a horrible manner. 

In his words, “Also on behalf of the AiS Creative Club, I sincerely sympathize with the Family of young Precious who was raped and killed in Agenebode yesterday.

“The club strongly condemn any of such barbaric acts against humanity and therefore call on the appropriate authorities to get the perpetuators of such devilish acts to justice.” He said.

The nefarious act took place just a few weeks after a prominent priest was kidnapped and murdered by his abductors in a neighbouring community.
