The Management of Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators Foundation YEI FOUNDATION in Abuja recently organised a one day programme to launch the Foundation and give Award to well meaning Nigerians who have given back to the Society by way of promoting and supporting Entrepreneurship culture in Nigeria.
The NGO have been training, and mentoring youths to engage in various Entrepreneurship programmes in Nigeria.
It is aimed at reducing rising youth unemployment, helping the Youths create jobs, become self employed and employers of labour.
In his Speech, Abraham E. Ofeoshi, the President of Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators Foundation said, “the Foundation advocates for social economic transformation and reformation of youths with special focus on Entrepreneurship, innovation, skills development and uses.”
According to him, “our is to become the foremost humanitarian organization that inspire and groom passion driven young entrepreneurs and innovators. We are on a mission to elicit entrepreneurial drive and passion in our young ones and to groom successful young entrepreneurs (youthprenuers) by providing a leading-edge youth entrepreneurship platform for sensitization and training that will empower, inspire and motivate young entrepreneurs and innovators to boost the industrial sector of the economy. Our philosophy is born out of the rising unemployment challenges facing youths generally. YEI Foundation strongly believes that this overwhelming challenge needs to be drastically and honestly addressed through well-structured youth entrepreneurship oriented programmes. This is why the theme for YEI Foundation launching today is; YOUTH ENTREPRENUERSHIP: PANACEA FOR SECURITY AND POLITICAL CHALLENGES IN NIGERIA.”
YOUNG ENTREPRENUERS AND INNOVATORS FOUNDATION (YEI FOUNDATION) was founded in 2016 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration number CAC/IT/NO 89090. YEI Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that focuses on a CAMPAIGN to INSPIRE, train and empower young people to embrace the culture of Entrepreneurship in other to better their lives and improve the industrial sector of their economy.
