International Women’s Day is described as a day set aside to evaluate and assess the achievement of women all over the world. Hajia Kudirat Abdul-Hamid Abosede made this known in a media chat with the GreenLand News Online, Abuja.
Hajia Kudirat who is the Auditor General Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, also said all hands must be on deck to assist women to be in good position.
According to her, “in policy making, decision making and in execution, prior to now we have women that are warriors. Queen Amina of Zazzau, Moremi in the South and others”.
Hajia Kudirat also maintained that women are doing excellently well in this modern times; in all spheres of human endeavor and should not be relegated to the background.
In her words:
“God that created man and woman knows why he did that and we are encouraged to complement one another. There is no human born of a man. Every human is born of a woman. Everybody is unique and talented. Just to discover who you are and your potentials. Networking and exchange of ideas helps to excel.”
“Goda woman does not exist there is no human race. Behind every successful man there is a woman.”
“For fairness, equity, involvement and justice, women should be included in all aspect of human endeavor.
“Women leader in Nigeria are up and doing both in Legislative, Executive and Judiciary.”
Hajia Kudirat who mentioned beautiful qualities of women such as: Love, Compassion, hardworking and many more also said women voices should be heard to enable them contribute immensely to the nation.
She used the opportunity to charge parents to train up their children in the right way so that they can be useful to the society and contribute to the development of the country.
